Huhu ihrs :),

also ich habe mir SUSE 10.2 neu drauf gemacht und habe auch noch keine grosse erfahrung mit Linux.:rolleyes:
Jedenfalls schaffe ich es absolut nicht meine Soundkarte zu installieren. Alles andere funktioniert soweit.
ich habe on Bord sound und folgendes Bord: GA-G1975X

It didn`t work with alsaconf :confused: . When I try to listen the test sound i didn`t hear anything.

The thread posted by Jacko says that it might be a permisson problem. They say you have to add the current user to the group "audio". I have double checked this and on my system (with yast), I have neither a groub called "audio" nor is "audio" activated in my user settings. But my sound system is working fine ...
Anyway, it is worth trying ...

I have tried ..... but still not work!
i don`t know what could be the problem! Maybe it`s alsa, it`s not having suport for this sound card yet!

I've read about some problems with alsa and openSUSE 10.2.

Are you running a 32Bit or 64Bit Version?

yes i see it! but i have installed the last alsa-drivers 1.0.14 rc3.
I have done everything what is write here:

:confused: but i don`t understand why didn`t install 1.0.14 rc3???:confused:

yes! i have used ./cvscompile not configure!
./cvscompile --with-cards=ca0106 --with-sequencer=yes;make;make install
