(Gelöst) wlan Karte Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG wird nicht erkannt

Hallo

meine WLAN - Karte (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) wird nicht von meinem
Notebook (Lenovo Thinkpad R61) erkannt, obwohl ich mich an die Anleitung http://www.pc-forum24.de/suse-mobile-hardware/9224-aktuelle-wlan-treiber-fuer-opensuse-10-3-und-11-0-a.html
gehalten habe.

Angaben (wie in http://www.pc-forum24.de/13622-post7.html) habe ich in der Datei liste.txt angehängt (reiner Text). Vermutlich reicht schon bis zum Punkt 1 zu lesen. Die Hardware wird nicht erkannt, obwohl die Firmware installiert ist.

Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen? Komme selber nicht weiter.

Wo ist da eine WLAN-Karte?

Ich sehe keine und wenn lspci keine Karte findet, dann ist das zu > 95% ein Hardwaredefekt/Anschlussproblem bzw. die Karte ist im BIOS "ausgeknipst".

So lange lspci nichts findet, kannst Du alles Weitere vergessen, also zuerst Hardware samt Anschlüssen und BIOS prüfen.


BTW:

Wurde diese Karte nachträglich eingebaut?

Hallo,

sorry, daß ich mich so spät melde. Die Lösung war das BIOS: es gibt an meinem Thinkpad 3 Stellen, an denen ich WLAN erst mal hardware-seitig enablen muß: zwei mal im BIOS und ein HW-Schalter. Die zweite BIOS - Einstellung hatte ich nicht gesehen.

Jetzt geht alles.
