Tach Folks!
Zuerst einmal - ich bin ein absoluter Neuling auf dem Gebiet Linux, also entschuldigt bitte meine Fragen.
Habe auf meinem ASUS A8JP Notebook neben Win XP Prof und Win Vista Business neuerdings eine Partition mit Suse 11.1. Desweiteren nutze ich zu Hause einen externen TFT und eine Bluetooth-Maus und Bluetooth-Tastatur. Die Installation von Suse hat wunderbar funktioniert, leider habe ich jedoch Probleme mit dem Bluetooth. Ich finde bei Suse keinerlei Programm, mit dem man Bluetooth-Geräte anmelden könnte. Als ich unter diesen Aspekt das Inet durchsucht habe, fliel öfter das Stichwort Bluez, aber was genau müsste ich installieren, damit ich meine Bluetooth-Geräte unter Linux nutzen kann? Es wäre nett, wenn Ihr es mir detailliert erklären würdet.

PS: Ach so, laut den Hardware-Informationen ist ein Treiber für das ASUSTec Bluetooth-Device installiert.

erst mal Willkommen im Forum.

Leider bietest du nicht allzu viele Informationen, so dass effektive Hilfe kaum möglich ist. Schau doch mal hier nach was du an Informationen posten könntest. Ich denke Beitrag 3 wäre unter anderem interessant.

So, jetzt hbe ich noch einmal mit dem hcitool gescannt und die maus auch nach neuen Geräten suchen lassen. Und siehe da...

Das heißt in meinen Augen, dass das Bluetooth-Device funktioniert und nur noch irgendwie mit Maus und Tastatur verbunden werden muss...? Gibt es denn dafür keine grafische Oberfläche unter Linux??
Habe dann auch noch nachgeschaut, welche Programme ich alles zum Thema bluez installiert habe, in der Hoffnung, dass vielleicht etwas fehlt und Ihr mir weiterhelfen könnt...

Er brachte den alles entscheidenden Durchbruch!

Also, für all die, die's interessiert...

Ich habe zusätzlich zu der oben genannten Software trotz KDE3 "bluez-gnome" installiert. Dann habe ich als normaler user im Terminal mit "/usr/bin/bluetooth-applet" den gnome-bluetooth-wizzard gestartet und siehe da, im tray war ein Blutooth-Icon, mit dem man nun ohne weitere Probleme die eigenen Geräte finden und verbinden kann...
