ATI Radeon 9550 Graka-Treiber

Hallo,
ich habe eine Grafikkarte von Club-3D, eine ATi Radeon 9550, und möchte die 3D Unterstützung aktivieren damit ich auch 3D spiele zocken kann und nach dem ich mich schlau gemacht habe, hebe ich heraus gefunden das ich den Treiber noch installieren muss (habe suse 10.2 seit 1 week). Also habe ich auch das tread: "Howto Nvidia und Ati Grafikkarten" gelesen und auch befolgt, hatte auch keine Probleme, aber am ende nach dem eintippen von "fglrxinfo" kam folgendes heraus:

Und an dieser stelle wunderte ich mich schon ein bisschen warum da Mesa stand! und XFree hatte ich auch installiert :

Nachdem die potentielle Unordnung, welche durch Installation von irgendeinem xfree86-Paket entstanden ist, aufgräumt wurde, solltest Du Dir vielleicht mal das hier ansehen.

Bei mir läuft eine Radeon 9700 Mobility mit dem mitgelieferten OSS "radeon"-Treiber und 3D-Beschleunigung, das geht auch ganz bestimmt mit Deiner 9550.

Vorher ein BACKUP der xorg.conf anlegen und dann kanns losgehen.

Ich habe auch den tread angesehen den RM entfohlen hat, und wen ich richtig verstanden habe sol ich mein sistem upgraden(?), und einen mitgelieferten OSS treiber finde ich auch nicht (von suse oder Ati?). da ich sehr microsoft gewöhnt bin dachte ich man kann ja einfach die Treiber von Mesa deinstallieren (da keine 3d Unterstützung) und die von ATi neuinstallieren (in der Hoffnung das die 3d Unterstützung funzt) oder?

Du hast doch eine 10.2, oder?

Einfach die Karte einrichten und ggf. die Option Load "dri" nachtragen, da muß nichts extra installiert werden.

sax2 -r -m 0=radeon

=> Karte einrichten.

Danach

und wieder in den graphischen Modus.
Sollte sich die 3D-Beschleunigung nicht aktivieren lassen, dann nachträglich die Option Load "dri" einfügen (Texteditor als root gestartet und die xorg.conf editieren), wie in dem Link gezeigt. Spätestens nach einem erneuten Login (Neustarten ist was für "Microsoft-Verwöhnte" *g*) sollte die Karte mit 3D laufen.

Dauert keine 5 Minuten.

Hallo nochmal,
nach dem ich versucht habe die Karte einrichten sind seltsame streifen auf dem Monitor erschienen und die Maus hat es verschoben (wen der pfeif am oberen rand war sie in Wirklichkeit ca. 7 cm darunter) und wen ich mich abgemeldet habe ist der Bildschirm schwarz geblieben (=> hammer neustart) , also habe ich an dieser stelle das alte (backup) xorg.conf über die konsole mit dem modifizierten ausgetauscht, und alles ging wieder.
Und den link wo beschrieben wird wie man dieOption Load "dri" einfügt habe ich auch nicht gefunden..

Ich habe auch die anderen treads über Grafikkarten gelesen, bin aber nicht weiter gekommen.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das sistem zurückzusetzen ( ohne neuaufsetzen ) ohne die installierten progs zu verlieren um den Treiber nochmal zu richtig zu installieren?

1. Mit einem Texteditor Deiner Wahl als root gestartet, es steht doch da:

2. Man kann eine Sax-Konfiguration auch zunächst mal testen, auch das steht da, wenn man es nur genau liest.

Ich habe auch die anderen treads über Grafikkarten gelesen, bin aber nicht weiter gekommen.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das sistem zurückzusetzen ( ohne neuaufsetzen ) ohne die installierten progs zu verlieren um den Treiber nochmal zu richtig zu installieren?

3. Klar kann man das erneut versuchen, indem man das fglrx-Paket entfernt und erneut baut/installiert, aber Du solltest vielleicht eher nach Möglichkeiten suchen, wie Du Deine jetzige Installation auf Vollständigkeit überprüfen kannst.

Der Eintrag ist doppelt (Load "dri"), aber das ist auch nicht das wichtigste, diese AIGLX-Meldungen scheinen das Problem zu sein.

Einfacher Weg, wenns den unbedingt der fglrx-Treiber sein soll.

eingegeben habe ist Sax2 aufgegangen und das Kreutzchen bei 3D-Beschleunigung war auch schon drin, aber ging trotz dem nicht.

Habe auch:

eingegeben, und was genau heraus kam kann ich nicht sagen (syntax error) aber er hat die Auflösung
zurückgesetzt.

Sorry, aber mit "geht nicht" kann keiner was anfangen.

Wie sieht die xorg.conf jetzt aus? Welche Fehlermeldungen sind jetzt im /var/log/Xorg.0.log enthalten?

Wenn einmal nach diesen Daten gefragt wurde, weil dort wichtige Infos stecken könnten, dann sind diese auch nach Veränderungen wichtig.

Was sagen 'fglrxinfo' und 'glxinfo|grep rendering'?

Was sagt ein '/sbin/lspci'?

Ich habe das Ganze mal an meinem Laptop genau so durchgespielt (9700 Mobility und openSUSE 10.2 i586) und es funktionierte einwandfrei.

Hast Du irgendwelche Extras wie XGL, Beryl, compiz oder AIGLX am Laufen?

Zunächst machst Du Dir ein Backup der jetzigen /etc/X11/xorg.conf für alle (Not)fälle

@AIGLX-Fehlermeldungen.

man xorg.conf schrieb:

enable or disable AIGLX. AIGLX is enabled by default.

Also würde ich folgendes eintragen:

@Alternative Einrichtungsmethode.

Zunächst erzeugst Du in Runlevel 3 als root mit 'sax2 -a' eine saubere Konfiguration, danach gibst Du als root 'aticonfig --initial' ein.

Was sagt eigentlich der Befehl 'groups' als normaler User?

und im runlevel 3 die alternative eingegeben, aber als ich runlevel 3 verlassen wollte mit dem befehl 'init 5' blieb der Bildschirm komplett schwarz...

1. Die restlichen zwei Zeilen auch? Und zwar wortwörtlich so, wie es da steht.

2. Backup drüberbügeln und gut ist.

Bei mir hat das so funktioniert, ohne schwarzen Bildschirm, aber die beiden Section-Zeilen müssen natürlich auch dabei sein.

Hallo nochmal, was genau gestern abend mit Linux passiert ist kann ich euch leider nicht sagen, nach einem neustart ging nichts mehr, Linux ist nicht mehr hochgefahren, also habe ich mich kurzfristig entschlossen die 80Gb hdd von Linux platt zu machen und neu aufsetzen , hat auch alles prima funktioniert, und jetzt mache ich mich daran den Ati Treiber für die 3D Beschleunigung erneut zu installieren(natürlich mit dem HowTo)!

Und ich kann Dir nochmal empfehlen, es mit dem freien radeon Treiber zu versuchen.

Nach Einrichtung der Karte von Hand die Zeile

in Section "Module" einfügen und gegebenenfalls folgende Zeile in Section "Device" (falls vorhanden) mit einem # auskommentieren.

Diese xorg.conf kannst Du Dir dann mal sichern und es dann immer noch mit dem fglrx versuchen.

als root ausgeführt setzt die Karte übrigens auf eine Standardkonfiguration zurück.

Eine funktionierende xorg.conf sollte man sich immer sichern, dann hat man diese für alle Fälle und kann sie bei schwarzem Bildschirm einfach drüberkopieren.
