xsession-errors ist 1,8 GB groß

Hallo,

ich nutze Suse 10.2. Soeben habe ich eine Warnmeldung bekommen, dass mein Speicherplatz in der Home-Partition vollkommen voll ist. Das kann eigentlich nicht sein, da ich vor zwei Wochen hier noch 2,5 GB frei hatte und eigentlich nichts bedeutendes in der Zwischenzeit gespeichert habe. Bei der Übersicht der Dateien ist mir aufgefallen, dass die xsession-errors Datei über 1,8 GB groß ist. Kann mir jemand sagen, was das für eine Datei ist und wie es sein kann, dass die so groß wird?

P.s. Seit wenigen Tagen bekomme ich desöfteren eine Nachricht nach dem Systemstart, dass der KDE-Crash-Manager gestartet wurde. Und dies obwohl der Rechner ordnungsgemäß heruntergefahren wurde.

Die Datei xsession-errors enthält einen Fehlerlog, in welchem wie der Name schon sagt, Fehlermeldungen zur jeweiligen X-Session gespeichert werden.

1.8 GB und Fehlermeldungen des KDE-Crashmanagers deuten darauf hin, daß da eine Anwendung abgeschmiert ist, allerdings bei 1.8 GB scheint da etwas schwer im Argen zu liegen, denn diese Datei sollte eigentlich bei jedem graphischen Login neu angelegt werden.

Sichere mal die letzten 200 Zeilen des Logs und danach lösche die Datei, damit Du wieder Platz in $HOME hast.

tail -n 200 .xsession-errors > Fehlermeldungen.txt

rm .xsession-errors
Danach kannst Du Dir mal diese letzten 200 Zeilen genauer ansehen und vor allem auch beobachten, ob die "neue" .xsessione-errors wieder so schnell anwächst.
