Problem nach Installation von XGL / X0-lock wird nicht gelöscht

Guten Tag zusammen,

ich habe hier ein Rechner mit SUSE 10.1 und einer ATI X850XT. Ich habe Compiz/XGL Installiert und Konfiguriert (unter KDE 3.5).

Soweit funktioniert auch alles einwandfrei.
Wenn ich den PC herunterfahre macht der das auch "sauber".

Beim nächsten Start bleibt er aber im RunLevel 3 hängen. Wenn ich auf der Konsole dann "startx" tippe, bricht er ab mit der Meldung:

"Could not create server lock file: /tmp/.X0-lock"

Wenn ich als root dann diese besagte Datei lösche, kann ich die grafische Oberfläche wieder starten.

Meine Idee war: ich bau mir nen Script was die besagte Datei löscht und binde es ins Runlevel 5 Script ein, so das es kurz vor xdm gestartet wird.

Problem: die Datei lässt ich nur mit root Rechten löschen .. :(

Jemand eine Idee ? - Wieso erstellt er die immer wieder ?

Also bis jetzt bin ich nicht weitergekommen .. in welchem Log-File würde denn des "unsaubere" herunterfahren des KDE stehen ? (/var/log/kdm.log?) - Wenn ja hier ist ein kleiner Auszug:

Hallo FiBo1984,

Bei der Datei /tmp/.X0-lock handelt es sich um ein sogenanntes "Unix Domain Socket" (zur lokalen Interprozess-Kommunikation).
Sie wird beim Start des X-Servers angelegt.
Beim Herunterfahren des X-Servers wird sie normalerweise entfernt.

Die Fehlermeldung
Code: 
# startx
xauth:  creating new authority file /root/.serverauth.6630

Fatal server error:
[COLOR='Red']Server is already active for display 0[/COLOR]
        If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
        and start again.

Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support

 for help.
bedeutet, dass die Datei /tmp/.X0-lock noch existiert und daher eigentlich die Sitzung (hier: 0) noch zu laufen scheint.

Das solltest du überprüfen.
Beim nächsten Start bleibt er aber im RunLevel 3 hängen.
Zum Vergrößern anklicken....
Boote deinen Rechner neu und wenn er "hängenbleibt", gib als root folgendes ein und poste die Ausgabe:

ps aux | grep X
Sollte in der Ausgabe so etwas Ähnliches stehen

dann heißt das nichts anderes, als das der X-Server läuft.
In diesem Fall kannst du versuchen mit
Code: 
Ctrl + Alt + F7
zu dieser Sitzung zu wechseln.


Zusätzlich: startx nach deiner oben beschriebenen Methode, dann als root
Code: 
init 3
in den Runlevel 3 und dort ebenfalls
Code: 
ps aux | grep X
.
